Thanks @Adey . It does answer some questions. I am not an advocate of all this technology, more to break.... The more Torque you have means the less gears you need . Your Clio is making as much torque as the best Ferrari 3 litre v10 F1 engine did, thing is it had nothing below 8-9000 rpm , so it needed 7 gears to keep it buzzing between 40 and 200 mph. If it were a breathless Atmo it would need 6 gears, as it is it probably needs no more than 4. Having all those gears will make it feel quick , but I would bet it would be even quicker with less, but longer gears. More time on throttle and less off changing gear. It will be at it's best in the middle of it's rev range in a high gear, where It will speed up the scenery effortlessly...
I suppose with the clutch it will be a case of getting a bit more clamping load from the diaphragm to cope, the original having covered that mileage will be well past it's peak clamping force. I would also suppose cerametallic will be off the menu due to the shock load it would put on the box, so good organic linings will be the only choice. it will be a small change in the fulcrum point needed to get a fair increased clamping load for a much smaller increase in release pressure.
You would get bored having absolutely nothing to do....................
