Online driving records to reduce car insurance premiums

Wonder whether we will see any reduction in premiums, and if any, how much of the 'savings' will be passed on to the customer: LINK

IMO I doubt any reductions will ever happen, until they deal with the uninsured vehicles roaming the roads there is little or no chance of reductions, the insurance companies have already done their risk assessments and it is not likely to make much difference other than the odd person getting hit for a hike for a speeding ticket that they 'forgot' to declare! The quality of drivers on the roads these days seem to be getting worse, poor road condition, night myopia (night blindness) are all issues that need to be dealt with. Chunter chunter chunter!!

It's simply a money saving exercise by the government and any savings made will not be passed on to the consumer.
