I sent mine back due to the Booooommmmm [smilie=drunken_smilie1.gif] .

I use mine most days and couldn't put up with it.

Hope you have some ear defenders, did sound good though.

had to get the old man to put it no his card cos thay wouldnt take mine think it was about 650 if not a bit more

I made the whim decision to buy and have fitted a QS Sport today. Having driven it home, I absolutely love all the pops and bangs and the noise on full throttle, but for around town driving or motorway cruising it is irritatingly loud.

I think you may have made a mistake getting the even louder version....OMG...

do you drive far everyday,..or just through town?
if you drive far..prepare to hate your vee :D

Colin's in exaggeration-mode....!!!!! I still love my Vee....It's loud....VERY LOUD...but it's also really cool...!!!! [smilie=cool.gif] Mines a daily driver too...you know what, you just get used to it in the end...!!! :D

i also have a OMG and my solution for driving long distance is: buy some 3M earplugs. :D For just short distance, open the right window a little bit. Than the boom is almost gone.

I've got the non-OMG version and I was ready to get shot of it early on. Don't know whether you become acustomed to the boom or whether they mellow a little - but it doesn't bother me a single bit now...
still sounds amazing and is a quality product! [smilie=cool.gif]

Hi all

I am looking for QS exhaust anyone have one they want to sell PLEASE ?

Regards

Vito

From my experience annoying/load exhaust drone tends to be at certain rev ranges doesn't it ?

The OMG seems to be at about 4000 RPM, so best to steer clear of that range - I suppose harder said than done on the motorway or long journeys.

Martin

I agree with Martin. Mine used to be a bit boomy at constant Motorway speeds.
All you have to do is drop a gear or two and put your foot to the floor. I found this technique combined with lots of overtaking, then slowing, then acclerating gets rid of the drone and makes the trip much more enjoyable.....

Mine can be adjusted correctly then seems to migrate north over time. Very strange these cars. :s ;)

BUT look at the quality! Compare that to the k-tec one someone posted recently. No comparison! [smilie=cool.gif]
