you guys have been very helpfull just a quick question
on hot idle where should the oil pressure gauge sit ????? on my f reg 21 t
if build the revs up goes up to half way on the gauge

depends on the electronics. Some gauges go 3/4, others only half way. My own gauge shows half at idle, vdo gauge says 4+ bar cold start, 3 bar hot. No matter if i rev it or not, the needle on the std gauge doesnt move.

I think its something like 3 bar at 3000rpm hot. As for on the gauge- varies. As long as the pressure lights stay out you should be ok lol

Was it you with the grey PH1 at Central Day yesterday mate - I saw the car. I came over for a nosey but couldnt see anyone around that looked like they owned it so didnt hang around.

I was with my mate in his white Cossied Mk2 RS2000 Escort.

Aaah - are you CabrioZo off PF then?

Naah - he (Dingy) didnt run his as hes only got a standard T5 box in atm whilst his big tooth is away getting fixed and the standard T5 is old anyway & probably wouldnt appreciate a full bore launch with 560odd bhp! LOL!

I did see that other white Mk2 though go up the strip, went like fook & got a very respectable 11.2sec (I think).
