Megane oil in boost hoses and intercooler meg 225

as title says, found oil in all these parts of the car could it be the oil seals going on the turbo or something else scratching my head at this so please help

Same question as Rich above.
I usually find oil in the inlet has come from the crankcase ventilation system though, and that Turbo oil leaks tend to come from the hot side not the cold side.

when i took the cooler off there was a fair bit dripping out, and when i removed the dv t-piece it was coating the whole inside of the t-piece, theres no smoke out of exhaust or anything though

Unless you keep an eye on the oil levels it might be tough to work out.

the engine has habit of loosing the 1st cylinder , but turbos dont tend to fail.

Good news though, I have a spare turbo on my shelf waiting for a new owner ..

i think now it could be the breather pipe firing oil back through the turbo lol so shouldnt be too serious hopefully! but i have noticed a small miss fire every so often after the car pops due to the decat and car goes all juddery

noo not as yet bud is that what could be causing it?

No , doubt it. The decats tend to run a bit leaner , but not enough to cause that.

Disconnect it then and run it into a catch can, clean the boost pipes out and drive it for a bit. If the hoses stay clean and the catch can has oil in it you have your answer.

I wouldnt worry about a little bit of oil in the boost hoses generally all turbo cars have a bit. If the intercooler is full of oil or your dumpvalve is blasting oil out its a problem.
