NW/Scotland convoy...

As my partners dad has a mini car transport business and is all over the country, He warned me of a lot of roadworks and traffic on the way to birmingham. He was on his way to Leicester and decided to take the A50 across to derby then down and he said it was a good quiet run across dual carriageway....... Dont know if this is the route planned? but i would suggest this is probably the best unless we are meeting anyone else out of the way of this route??

I have tried adding a link to the route on google maps but it hasnt been working anyone help? I did a "get directions" from tickled trout preston to kettering and chose the 2nd route....

Me and Martin are meeting at matts for 11 ish i think (i'm flexible) and then meeting Emma and others?!? at the tickled trout for 11:45

Is there any other people meeting or any other preferred routes?

The A50 is one of the best and most sensible major roads in the country ... generally for avoiding the M6, getting across country from the west to the M1 and also having a blast, with 3 sneaky round-abouts - a VERY wise move :approve:

Cool, so who will be coming on the NW convoy??

there are 2 people (PSJ and Nashy) with clios going too (197 F1 and LY 182) not sure if its worth asking if they wanna join us? they might already have made plans tho. Or maybe you want it to be a strictly V6 convoy

The more the merrier in my view mate! We will be meeting Phil (Russo) and Emma at TickleTrout. Not sure who else is coming down. Prob see loads!

Yes we're still on for meeting at the Tickled Trout at 11.45, can't wait - and yes, the more the merrier guys - this whole experience is for enjoying the cars and the driving, whether its a vee or anyone else's pride and joy :approve:
