New V6 back box to replace renault original

V6 Driver

New Member
Hi Everyone,

I'm new on here although should have registered when I first got my V6 which was about 18 months ago.

About to change my Renault fit back box for something new but not sure what to go for? The car is only used at the weekend and for fun so more noise is ok and I'd really like to take some weight out of the car.

Has anyone got any reccomendations of box or does anyone know of a good quality one that is for sale second hand?

Cheers for your help!

Jainy has an OMG super sport for sale I think she wants around £350 for it - currently sat in my garage as I took it off yesterday.

I've been told that these create loads of boom in the cabin? Is that right? I want more noise but I don't want to find the car a pain to use on long journeys.

You could also take the car to someone like Prospeed and tell them exactly what you want (and don't want). Might cost a few quid more but you'll be happy with the result I'm sure.

Welcome to v6clio.net :)

I've heard good things about them from other people. Also heard about Yozza sport who can do an exhaust as I want it, does anyone know anything about them?

They seem to know their stuff.

Yes that's another option. Yozzasport are in the parts sourcing and getting things developed by companies and selling them on business. Two very enthusiastic guys who help loads of Clio owners. "If you want it, we know a man who can make it" sort of thing.

The main chap is called Fred and he owns a v6. I expect as he gets to know the car they will be sourcing many more parts for v6 owners. http://www.yossasport.net
