so it has the F4R turbo engine, basically deturned. good for 140mph tho.

broken electronic handbrake
basically they threw the excess parts at them until the laguna 3 came out
once its up and running, i think it will require a cheeky remap...

Remember looking at the grand scenic 165 2.0t as a cheeky option (until confirmed way too small)
That had a quite a few lesser spec items so not just software. Hopefully the 205 is just software reduction of the 225 Meganne

True, it almost happened with the Clio 16v & the R19 16v.
Renault where going to use the the same engine gearbox combination with no changes in the Clio as they had in the R19, but they realised they can't have a lower model out performing their then flagship performance car.

TBH same goes for the v6 and 225
i remember phoning renault tech line in france to ask about my towbar papers or something, and the guy had just transferred from Dieppe. He said the 225 should have been more like a 245 but it was too close to their flagship v6 which they where struggling to sell and they got asked to de-tune
he also sent me a pic of the megane Rs CC they did, and it got pulled as it would never sell...... if only they had!

first update... *wwooo* look at me
I fitted a new bonnet...
no pics.. as its looked the same as before but this one hasn't been sanded with 60grid paper
oh and I also found the wiring fault with the handbrake... so I need to re-wire that tomorrow... and yep, no pics of that either as well.. i was using my phone as a torch!
I might wash it tomorrow so I'll take you all a picture
