Just bought a 1991 espace, as needed to move some stuff from london.
Van hire just too expensive
Didn't fancy sitting at 50mph max all the way in my transit tipper, that and the weather looks bit indecisive.
popped down auctions yesterday, but finding a throw away van seem to have gone. budget was about £250- 300
Use it for a week, weigh it in, bingo less than hire.
anyway sod all down there.
quick flick of gumtree and there was an espace for £350.
bit too much so haggling done, i got it.
its got ticket to december, and got a towbar so might last longer than the week anticipated.
Problems, loads of damage to the fiberglass, interior tattty! that dont bother me. no guages, fuel rev temp. and its got a dodgy alternator, but no warning lights. ideally i need to repair that somehow.
Thinking maybe i should slam it
