need help to get the on the road

i changed the heater metix but car runs ok but no heat inside car could it be the thermosat also looking for boot strutt and wheel nuts please help me. trying to get the car ready for xmas

ref the matrix, obvious question but did you bleed the air, with the heater controls in the open position, using the plastic thumb screw at the end of the rubber pipe? What position is the temp gauge inside the car, does the cooling fan cut in when left to idle for a long time?

hi bleed it like u put. fan not work left it running for 45 min fan not kicked one side of rad was hot otherside was warm please help if dont get it working i will broke for spares but the car is to good for that

if the the fan has not kicked in, i assume the temp gauge is also reading low, rather that just a broken fan/ temp switch?

Worth changing the thermostat, a15 min job, can still get new ones from motor factors etc, make sure system is bled properly afterwards.

Sounds like you need to thoroughly flush both the heater matrix and the radiator. It sounds like both are blocked with sludge.
