Latest update :
A failed OE Oil cooler killed the GT2860RS by failing to keep the oil and coolant apart. I wouldnt have noticed by sight because it wasnt oil in the water, it was water in the oil....so coolant was just being dumped in the sump. My rad was full of clear pink coolant as was the bottle.
So I went shopping :
GTX2860 is on, fitted and working
APS 16 row oil cooler is on fitted and ensuring everything is kept apart.
SPA Dual digital gauge is monitoring Oil Pressure and Temp - it sits at 75deg&3.4bar at 70mph and around town in school traffic temps climbed to 91 and pressure was around 1.6bar.
Its all been plumbed in using JIC fittings and I thoroughly enjoyed putting them together, I have a bit of a bug now and find myself looking for things to make.
Ive been to see an exhaust man, mine in all honesty was a bit of a lash up, nobodys fault other than my own....I badgered someone who I know can weld to get a few bits done to get me out of trouble/moving. He did and did the best he could with the materials I gave him. However it never sat right, always came loose/hit the subframe so a visit to Pipecraft in Basildon was in order. He corrected all the wrongs, welded new mounting points and rehung it - I now enjoy driving the car, amazing what an exhaust can do for a smile. I'll be going back to see him for a new downpipe and centre section soon but for now its spot on. Thanks for the hook up

In a bid to make it comfortable inside, Ive fitted a cloth rear bench, Ive dyed it black to try and match the fronts, a carpet has gone in, DAB/Bluetooth head unit and given it a proper tidy up. I'd consider taking it to work now its so nice.
Next week sees the addition of a Bosch 044 pump, timed with a visit to Scoff :ag:
Oh and we have a Nangkang rep come into work every now and then, he popped in just to tell me that NS2-R's are now available in 205/40/17 and he'd ordered me 5 to try.
Last year saw no use at all, 10 or 11 months of being parked up. 1 trip to Scoff, 3 to work and 1 to my sister 6 mile away.
This year provided we stay reliable it'll get used lots more.
