21 Turbo My Current 21 In Pictures

Afternoon all,

Thought I'd give a little update as its been a while........

I've nothing to report on a mechanical front, its been 4 years since the engine was built and 3 since the GTX was fitted and its as good as gold.

I have microblisters on the bonnet, spoiler and front bumper so that'll need addressing at some point.

I've just fitted some audio, nothing mental, new speakers and the smallest amp I've ever seen. Its the size of a sky remote.

Just got to get it back on the rollers now.......

Then its time to lob the head back on with a rewrapped manifold.

Along with a new water pump

I changed the spigot bearing, bolted a few more bits on, coolant channels, flywheel, clutch, cambelt, etc and dropped it back in the engine bay, accompanied by a tremendous rain shower halfway through!

Hello everyone, been a while.

Firstly big thanks to Dave, he's built me a stellar engine that's still going.

It's well known I've had some serious map issues at the well known and most commonly used place, so shortly after Dave finished the car, I headed for Track and Road in Essex where the car has been put right and is now both reliable and quick.

It's been a joy to use until December 22 when it caught fire 😂

If I could choose a fire, I'd have chosen the one I got.
Oil return popped, set the exhaust housing alight and the turbo blanket kept it all under control.

I'm not in the process of putting it right.

Hope you're all well?
