Clio My 197/Meglio conversion

Great thread really helped me with mine mate. Thanks for the time taken to do this project thread.

Could you help me with 2 questions?
1 - the sensor circled in red whats it called? So I can order one.
2 - the part circled Blue did you run a vac hose from there all the way to where the clio one was on the far left and connect it up to the vac hose there?20200102_195354.webp

Sensor circled in red is the N75 valve
This, it's the boost control solenoid.

The Vac line for the brake servo I took off the Megane port, included the one way valve and joined it to the Clio servo pipe. The other black plastic line on the left of the Clio engine bay I didn't connect, it's tucked behind the expansion tank. The bit circled blue was left as-is.

Lovely mate thanks. Been asking everywhere else and nobody would give me an answer.

Oh, also over the xmas break the clutch line separated itself at the bleed point. Apparently the clips get weak or something.

Had the front end off, bent the clip in a bit, bled the line and lock wired over the clip and then made a bracket from 3 washers and a bit of scrap steel that bolts in to the bellhousing and pushes ever so slightly on the metal union - so the line cannot move back to pop off again :)

Cheaper than £80 for a new top-half of the clutch line as you can't get the clip on it's own, because Renault.

When you say the top half of the clutch line, is that the black part as thats what i need?
I don't know why I put top half, I meant the section that goes from just above the gearbox to the slave joint, and has the bleed point in it.

It's an entirely shite system, with shite joints and a shite bleed method.

As far as I can tell my system is made up of the three items pictured, the clip sits at the end of the red part, although in this diagram it doesnt show the fitting correctly, or the clip, or the bleed nipple thing. There is another clip that joins the green section to the red section. I defo have that round metal wotsit sat above the gearbox on the NS chassis rail.

I kicked the absolute living shite out of the Meglio last night on an urgent trip across some A-roads, Warp factor 12, afterburners on..... it was fabulous.

So - I have ordered bottom wishbone balljoints, and front & rear pads to go with the 4 genuine Renault discs in the garage. I thought i'd try EBC blues, as I quite liked the yellows in the 21 for track and fast road use. This should see it fit for the rest of the year, having had all the service kit when the engine was put in and just had 4 new tyres too.

EBC < insert colour > is shite. Utter garbage.

I know pads are preferential but I have yet to find anyone other than you that likes them!

DS1.11 , DS2500 , anything but the EBC ..
