5 Mk I incl Gordini Mk 1 Rear trailing arm bush replacement / upgrade

Hi all
Is ther a quick fix soulution to upgrading the rear trailing arm bushes, Sam Fish mentioned that his dad converted to needle rollers and I have looked into this but with not much sucess, The o/d and i/d and lengths are different on both sides and I am unable to find standard bearings that will be a direct replacement, neither am I able to find a bearing that could be used with a inner and outer machined sleave.
I have had a price for custom made bearings exactly as I require but are £600 plus vat and postage.

I am also looking at chinease suppliers,

Has anyone used polyurathene bushes for such application?

Thanks
Gary

Some guy I was in touch with in the US had a load of them made. He was in the trade. I think I bought several sets from him.
All my parts are a little way away from home. I only visit my unit occasionally. I will try to get down there at the weekend.
I also have standard bushes - inners and outers for sale.

Now I do know that they've been successfully fitted but I believe you can't use the standard brake pressure limiter and you have to change it to one with a fixed setting, rather than the Renault original that changes setting with suspension height. These bushes also require spacers, which are supplied. I think the spacer is required to keep the inboard bushes in place.

I have never fitted a set! Having searched high and low for trailing arm bushes I've never needed to replace them, although I think that will change soon enough!

By the way, I only have two sets of these bushes in stock. Once they are gone, they are gone! I also only have one set of OE style bushes in stock. I am hoping to get some more OE style sets soon

I'm keen on a set of the O.E version, but I don't need them just yet!!
