MIS Insurance

Hi All,

I have just received a quote through MIS Race Insurance (underwritten by Royal & Sun Alliance) for £130 for a full track day at Keevil airfield.

Seeing as this is my first trackday in my own car, can anyone advise as to whether this is a good price or if I could find better? (For anyone's information, I'm 25 years old).

Also consider what your excess is with trackday insurance as it could be quite high such to discourage a claim for a non structural 'tap' - with Hagerty it is 10% of the agreed car value so around £1.5k if you have a £15k car.

Yes that's the excess that they have specified for me.
