Attention all serial detailers.. I got a Meg's rotary polisher last year and haven't yet used it. Basically, what do I need to go with it to start getting swirl marks out? Is it best to firstly wash car, clay it etc before polishing? Cheers in advance.
Have a look on Detailing World, hours of reading for you Matt
My best advice is have a go on something your not bothered about or get some 'scrap' panels to have a practice on.
Cheers a Russo. Yea good idea about a practice panel. Might use the gt turbo or Caroline's polo first to test it out. Will take a look on detailing world. Cheers pal.
Good wash and clay then Wash again prior to any polishing so your not pushing any unwanted particulate/ dirt around your paintwork..
There's lots of polishes/swirl removal products and sealers / waxes out there just depends on how much u wanna spend..
Merzena Polishes.
Renault Has Soft Paint, Just Go At It With Medium Pad And Medium CuT CompoUnd. It Will Come Up Lovely!

Meguires Swirl X is amazing stuff, the wind blew the garage door down on the roof of my Focus (please excuse my foul language) putting
88 scratches in a neat row so yesterday I used Meguires Swerl X and my polisher and it removed all the scratches.
