Megasquirt my Clio turbo!

I just had an ingenius idea I can't MOT the car at the moment because I can't map it to bring the CO level down. I just thought: I have access to a W/B lambda and datalogging software, if I fit an adjustable fuel regulator, couldn't I lower the fuel pressure enough to bring the CO level to regulations. Just for the MOT. Then I can put it all back to normal aferwards and fit the Megasquirt at my leisure?

Afterall. When I tested it, the CO was only 1%, and it needs to be 0.5% to pass. Proper bodge but only needs to be correct from idle to 2000rpm -so no boost.

drop the fuel pressure till its on the verge of stalling, the turn it out maybe 1/4 of a turn ...this would be your best bet i think.

Oh, and do I fit it the fuel pump outlet hose (before the OE regulator) to lower pressure?
