Megane Megane 275 cup s

I took ownership of a Megane RS 275 Cup S on Wednesday. At first i was worried id made a mistake as every time I hit a speed bump it was like hitting 3. Then yesterday I drove 130 miles along A roads down to worcester. Im still running it in but it handles like a BMW M4. buying this car has been one of the best things ive ever bought. Awesome tool. However, im supposed to be getting 37 mpg average but all I got is 31mpg. Tyres are at 2.5bar approx. Revs were kept below 2.5k. Does this mpg sound correct?

31mpg is about right. I have had 37, but that was in cruise control on a long drive to the `ring` doing about 70-80mph. Rarely see 37, 31 is about right for a mixture of driving. Tyre pressures seem a bit high, Should be about 2.1 bar front & 2 on the back.

Just reset the average mpg meter an went for a drive, got 36mpg. That is slightly better than the T4. Its an awesome machine, one of the best Ive driven. Cant wait for a track day once its run in.

at first the ride was rock hard but once you are at the limit it seems to change its dynamic and becomes soft and predictable. Ive no regrets, if you can get one, get one.

Agreed.

Is it possible to retrofit the R.Monitor? I didnt get it as I thought the Android Torque app would do the same thing but it cant talk to some of the sensors. I cant get MAF, MAP or Boost. Cant get instant mpg either which is annoying and the trip computer doesnt offer it either.

Have you tried calibrating or adding in some of the sensor codes to get it ? I was missing some on the r26 but added them in as needed.

Do not all half decent spec cars have average and instant mpg, miles left etc? Maybe worth reviewing manual to see if its under some French humour way of toggling through

Seems strange it would not have it been such a premium model?

If it does 20mpg average I am happy in a performance car tbh. 30 for a derv love bus

Both always have to be Turbo

any idea what the PIDs would be? do I search for them or something? I once tried searching for PIDs using Torque and it was gonna take about 5 hours and if you turned your car off you had to start again. impossible.
