Megane Cup-S v Standard suspension

I've got a 275 cup s megane and I think the road holding would be better with the standard suspension on ordinary roads, am I right? You see, the car I test drove wasn't a Cup-S and taking my Cup-S on the same test road I don't feel as fast, what are your thoughts? Would fitting the Ohlins make it a better daily drive, faster on normal roads which are full of pot holes etc. If the standard rs suspension is better for the road that might be the route I go down rather than change the car.

PS4S are the best all round tyres I have had.

AD08R are fantastic on dry surfaces.

The PSCup2 should be night and day better than a winter tyre.

Maybe they are once warmed up but in 8c temps these alpine pa4 are what the car has been missing, I haven't noticed ithe tyres skipping on low speed manoeuvres, normally the diff makes them skip n bounce which feels tacky to me. The alpins were designed for porches.

Yes, you are quite right regarding the temps. When I cad the PSCups on my meg they were a bit leathal in <8deg C

I wouldnt be tempted to change the tyre especially now as warmer temps are imminent.
