Bit of a long shot, but does anyone have an engine bay wiring diagram for the 225 ph2 that could upload/email me please? (I'm guessing the ph1 & R26 would be similar as well?)
In particular, the wiring loom(s) going to/from the engine bay fuse box.
For some reason, of which I haven't yet traced back, my Meg' has an additional 7.5A-fused +ve feed that's been spliced & soldered onto one of the white wires going to the large connector on top of the fuse box (when you remove the upper cover), of which is triggered (via an aftermarket relay...stamped with the 'Ford' logo of all things!) from another white wire which also goes to said connector.
For ref', said additional +ve feed is sourced from the main supply 'pin' (thick red wire from the alternator) at the base of the engine bay fuse box.
I thought it might've been an additional/booster 12v supply for the aftermarket HIDs that were fitted, but neither of the white wires go 'live' when the lights are switched on. I removed the fuse, but it didn't seem to affect/stop anything from working either.
It's defo something that one of the previous owners have fitted, from the way the wires have been spliced/soldered onto, the inline spade-connected fuse holder, and the shady Ford relay, but I'm buggered if I can trace back to see why it's supplying a full 12v to this white wire?
