Wanted Megane 225 o/s lower suspension arm

Hi all,
I've tried every Renault main dealer an specialist I can get hold of an I've tried eBay an various breakers of Renaults with no luck at all. So if anyone has one in good condition please let me know.

No not bent its the ball joint is knackered but some guy the other side of wakey has one so I'm off for it tomorrow but also have a left an a right brand new on urgent order from dealers

You can replace the balljoint its press fit.

Anywhere really, its just a 1998 2.0 espace balljoint from memory @Mart replaced his a while back he will be able to confirm the exact part.

I've had a look an they look identical so Ive bought 2. Going to press them in this week so I'll have a spare arm going for sale soon with new bushes an ball joint if anyone is interested

Anywhere really, its just a 1998 2.0 espace balljoint from memory @Mart replaced his a while back he will be able to confirm the exact part.

JBJ732 made by TRW, which I believe is o.e spec. About £8 each from Mister Auto & the such like.

ECP do an equivalent balljoint made by Ocap, which are cheaper/if you can't find the TRWs in stock.

Don't mention suspension arms around me. I've spent the last few months trying to get hold of some. I've been mucked about by Renault UK and Renault France. Finally I found a second hand set, but they 'went missing' when they were with the courier, only to be found behind a tin of beans (don't ask ). Today though, I got my mitts on them at long last, and my mate's just fitted new bushes and ball joints (the Espace ones mentioned above).

Sounds like you're having as much luck as me! I've managed to get my hands on one so I need to find another. I also need a swivel bearing inner race as I've replaced the bearings but the n/s still knocks slightly over chatter bumps. I'd also like to thank you all for the info an I hope to be able repay the favour at some point.

If you're on rsmegane.com, try pm'ing Shaunkealaher. That's who I got my arms off, and he did mention some others with cut ball joints.

Mark Black will prob be able to get the swivel inner race. Have you replaced the droplinks ?? The short hub stabilisers knock like feck..

I've not but they didn't seem to have play in them but I do intend to refresh all the joints an bushes

Unless you can feel play in the hub its most likely to be one of the droplinks/hub stabilizer, or possibly a track rod end.

Ye I can feel play in the n/s lower bearing an the inner race had some slight marking on from the bearing rollers
