Wanted Megane 225 lower arms

8200725672 (nearside) and 8200725673 (offside).

8200725659 (n/s) and 8200725660 (o/s).

One's listed as the 225, the other R26/r, but I thought exactly the same spec part was fitted across the mk2 RS range...unless one set of part numbers have simply just been superseded?

Unfortunately all those part numbers are still "No stock"
The 8200725672 & 673 are 225 (CM0M) versions
The 8200725660 & 659 are R26(R) versions, they have changed from 8200646919 (RH) and 8200646917 (LH) and these old part numbers are NLA (no longer available)
I have left it with one of the parts guy who will email NPDc to seem if there is any news on a supply date.
If the ball joint on the arm is the only part that has failed there may be an alternative method by replacing the lower ball joint only with one from a normal Megane II (CM0C) as per picture.
There is a specific repair method for the ball joint replacement & I will have to find the appropriate repair documentation for this.

Balljoint that fits the 225/r26 is off a 1998 2.0 petrol espace - tenner or less new. Whip arm off and press fit (y)

As for bushes poly are available. Probably be able to sniff out oem with a bit of digging.

If I remember correctly the Espace III lower arm were cast iron and thicker than the Megane at the BJ hole, but then again I have never compared the two side by side.

I know one of them from that era fits. I have fitted one to a 225 and @Mart replaced both of his. It was identical to the original as measured it with calipers(y)

Thanks for looking into it @Red21 (y)

As @Brigsy mentioned, I've replaced both the bjs on my 225 lower arms. Defo from an Espace model, and I bought both from ECP for around a tenner all in. There is a TRW-made bj (TRW-jbj732) which apparently is o.e, but I couldn't find any (in stock) when I was looking, hence went with whatever ECP had in at the time instead - Lemforder or Ocap; can't remember now.

The arm bushes are available as well - ECP & Mister Auto both supply them (about £7 each).

Must say, it's a delightful job removing the arms...:D

Well I've had no luck finding any arms, but I have heard today from Renault that the due date for them to be back in stock is the middle of May, so I've ordered a couple #fingerscrossed

The guys design for the lower arms is terrible. I personally would fabricate some from T45 tube with a triangulated design with camber adjustment made available...
