Wings on, rear bumper sorted. He’s going to polish up the lights. Tailgate and front bumper sorted Monday/Tuesday.

Was thinking the same! I've used a local place I found a couple of times which have also come in on time & budget, I'm starting to wonder if Jeremy Beadle is going to pop out or something.

I think it’ll be almost completed this week, maybe next. He says once all the panels are on and painted they spend a good 2 days or so polishing the car.

I’ll be collecting the car next Friday.

They’ve been concentrating on cleaning up the underside and under sealing this week. Once complete they block and polish the paint work which they say takes a few days.

Looking forward to seeing it all dressed and in its final complete form.

I also picked up a new tailgate badge.

That's a real nice job. Those Guys have a keen eye for detail and obviously take a pride in their work. Only snag is Guys like that don't come cheap!!

I’ve certainly followed the same formula haven’t I Dave? but I am very hopeful that this time it’s just a few more things to sort and I can turn the key and enjoy the car.

I do hope it’s just the cost of fuel, tax and insurance moving on.

I now have an extension to fund.

New window cowl and new door handles fitted. Lights polished up. Lights surround all painted too.

Sadly it’s a pretty shit cheap weave but he’s done the best he could with it. I’m planning on a Voltex wing in the winter, I can’t stomach the £2k cost to buy and import just yet.
