Blimey I wouldn't know where to start with those cables Ed! Great to hear its up and running. Well done!

Have you got any plans on how to get air to that intercooler? I know it gets very hot back there.

Thanks Duncan
Air is fed to the intercooler direct (in ducting) from the side pods and exits into the diffuser, the intake air temperature is used to reference engine load so I have an easy way to monitor how effective any mods are if I find things are too hot. I have a few back up plans to introduce more cold airflow if need be but hoping it won't be necessary.
Just running it this morning and it would seem the Subaru pump won't push the water round the front radiator, theres a small oil leak (from one of the only two oil pipes I didn't make myself) and my new digital boost gauge isn't working (and they tell me i've wired it wrong ! It does have three wires to it !) Anyway one step at a time, there's a way to go yet.

Can we have a recap (listed) of build component please Ed? It looks like the internals of a Saturn V moon rocket!

Aside from adding a limited slip differential and messing with some stronger gears and ratios thats engine and transmission done.
Not much interest there for Renault Sport fans !

I have some BC coilovers and various other suspension parts plus some body mods in the pipeline which may have more relevance to this forum.

Can’t wait to hear it firing up!
Excellent summary.
: )

Thanks Kett

As with most Subaru's it sounds 'wrong' especially in the back of a Clio but that sort of adds to the mystery. It's the torque figure that does it for me :)

Got to love a diffuser!
That is some diffuser indeed - intrigued by the spoiler too - functional or is it more for the 'look'?

Is that Vee in the register?

Its straight off of a btcc car Dulan. It could possibly benefit from a small Gurney lip on the rear edge I think. However, I’ve got my eye on a similar one off of a Ferrari 488 I work on. The diffuser is paired with some underfloor modifications and some ducting from under the bonnet and front arch wells. The side skirts also have minor mods.

Difference being mine doesn't have a thumping great transverse engine and transmission blocking the way ;)
