I've booked my AY in for frontal paint rectification next week.
The proprietor was telling me about a full respray he did on a car in LY. The doors were done on a different day with the same paint, but cured differently and failed to match. Frustratingly, he ended up re-doing the whole car in one hit to achieve the perfect match.
I'm sure that's not always going to be the case, but it shows the challenge with LY paint restoration.
