I've emailed him.

Looks gipping on those photos.

Also is it easy to sort the exhaust alignment on these? This one looks particulary bad.

Ask him if the mileage is more like 100K + ;)

Cor blimey poor owner is being crucified on the cross over the advert!! Ok an over-exaggeration I know
Seems to me its a simple advert purely because the owner possibly doesnt often sell cars hence the simplicity of it. Or he hasnt got the knowledge base of how to write a good advert. Likewise the price seems cheap again probably he doesnt analyse other adverts or current market prices. Some people are not that way inclined. The fact SG Motorsports has worked on the car surely is a positive. Scott may have info on the car, condition etc. Surely as Brett says ring the owner or have a look at the car, the service history etc. before throwing the owner to the lions.
Humour aside if I was a potential buyer I would be looking at this car. Could be a bargain then again maybe not. Discounting on the strength of a simplistic advert is a little non-sensical surely???? Its not like there is an abundance of vees on sale or will ever be.
Ring the owner why pussyfoot with emails.
Martin I do understand your point about the fact if it is unique or rare vee in some way would make you more inclined to contact the owner
which doesnt apply in this case but for someone looking to own a vee without the uniqueness criteria its certainly worth a phonecall.

Well said that man! inexperience in selling cars does not mean a crap car, usually quite the opposite.
just as a matter of interest, how do you go on if there is no service history, (or recent history) like if you look after it yourself?.....like me!

I guess you should keep a succinct photo diary.

This car looks similar to mine, same sort of mileage (mine has done 10k less) but I paid exactly the same for mine just over a year ago. I knew my car didnt have a full service history, but I got proof of the belts being done and for me that was all I needed to know, the car drove well and I bought it knowing full well that it would need things like braking system and other items needing a thorough going over.

it all depends what you want. If you want a mint showroom car, then you pay more dosh. As the old saying goes, 'you pay your money, you take your chances'
