Loltus Exige

Well, owned the exige a year now. Delighted with the car. I tend to keep my cars for 2/3 years an move on.

I have drawn up my shortlist for what I would like next.

Here it is and in order.

Ferrari 458 challenge. Will need some fettling to become road legal, but doable.

Second :

Porsche 997.1 turbo. Tuneable to the max ..

I must reiterate though I am still completely in love with the exige.

It would be the Porsche for me. Been looking at replacements for the Clio when I’m all grow’d up and wearing big boy pants, a carrera 4 variety has been top of the search function. To be honest though autotrader is the adult equivalent of looking in the Argos catalogue šŸ˜‚

My wife has glazed her brake pads on her car, handy as I always know when she’s pulling up outside the house, embarrassing when out in it though. I have to shout ā€œwoman driverā€ though šŸ˜‚

Friend had 996 turbo S and with just a map went really well the S flavour has the lump as the GT2 so a great base for big power. Much restraint needed lol

Polar opposite to a big powered lotus plastic cars ;)

He sold for fear of big bill, clutch replacement etc as everything was not cheap even brakes were a LOT, forget what a porker garage wanted to fit them for

Same kind of thing as a R35 GTR massively quick and loads of fancy tech to help but mega bucks to run with the £££ fear factor for big maintenance items

Still epic cars and have either as a perfect daily if I could afford one
