LeMans 2018 - Roadtrip + 1/2

This year I went to LeMans.

In my c63.

A few pictures and a summary / write up ( for me , not you , just so I can remember stuff later )

The Trip down..

I went a little bit like this

I drove from home ( Doncaster ) to Dover and stayed in a travel lodge.

Petrol stations visited : 2 . 1 for a splash and dash , 1 for a fill until its spill.

We arrived on the Friday , around 1700. Put up a tent, grabbed a beer and walked to the open pit lane

Some racing started early that day - around 0900. I hauled myself from my pit and ran to the Porsche curves ( around 500m away )

Some more racing occured, 24h of it actually ...

Lots of food was prepared on this device

My car was spotted and papped ( by me , dont let that detail stick in your memory though ) at the campsite.

Sadly ,someone won the race and we had to go home

Costs :

Tolls : €TBC - approx 70€
Ferry : £64 return
Ticket+Camping £108
Fuel : 229.83l ( working that out in a bit. Need a sit down first )

£340 worth of fuel. 1000mi ...

Would I do it again ? Oh yes.

Never felt the great attraction of it but pics help the cause looks lime an epic trip. 23.7mpg dam thats also derv compared to my grand espace which after some motorway loving sits at 18.3mpg for the last 1000ish miles lol

Actually hit 27mpg going down to LeMans as wasnt in a rush!
