leak off the sump guard

iv found a small leak of oil which drips from the deflector guard under the sump, im not sure what this is or what it means, or wether its coming from the driveshaft as that is also above the leak.
the car doesnt burn oil or water and it doesnt smoke. just i havent got under there to check it out properly. was wondering if any of u guys could help me out??

u'll just need to get under there mate, trace the leak back by wiping away the excess n watching where its coming from. issue with leaks from bottom is a leak anywhere will run oil or fluid all the way to that point before it drops off the car, so no real idea where its originated from

do you mean the small black plastic drip tray under the gearbox.
if so this is common just take it off and clean it every now and then

thats why they fitted the catch tray in the first place. might be worth checking the gearbox oil level but they all tend to leak a little unless recently refurbed.

mine pisses out box oil and its only a 2 year old box with 3k on it! :roll: and by that i mean really brand new, £800 from renault new and its still pants, god love the french! :lol:
