Lakes Tour 2016

OK everyone the popular Lakes Tour will take place over the 2nd and 3rd of July this year :race:

At last years event there was interest expressed in making it a two day meet :salut: and with it being 10 years now since the first Lakes meet [cmilie=iconcheers.gif] then a two day drive seems a good idea, and maybe we could tempt a few more folk to stay for the evening meal which is a great end to the day [cmilie=iconcheers.gif],of course if you can only do the Saturday then that's fine :)

Please add your name to the list below if you want to join us for this great driving day in the stunning Lake District.

Could you please indicate numbers for lunch and if you would like to attend the evening meal.

Thanks

Phill

Also on my honeymoon........ but need to do lakes tour again, so count me in Phil + 1. I'll work on her........clearly this is a wonderful honeymoon venue and she is privileged to spend time in the Lake District and travelling in an exotic wedding car....... perfick!

Definitely up for this again :approve:

Apologies for being away for a while - just been so busy working on the house [smilie=icon_eek.gif].

In previous years we have had a great attendance so please consider joining us for what will be a great day out taking in the stunning Lake District scenery [smilie=yay.gif] and some good driving roads too :race: a lunch stop and an evening meal will be included which are great for meeting new and old members and having plenty of "Vee talk" :approve:

Cheers,

Phill

Phill, any pointers on where we can book ourselves in for the 2 nights. In 2015 Castle Green was a good stopover venue but it was a bit far from where we had the evening meal, so would like to book somewhere closer, especially if we are doing a run the next morning as well. Thanks.

I'm thinking Ambleside Dulan, as it's a good central location with lots of accommodation options and places to eat :approve:
