Dave, happy to convoy up on the Friday. If you are coming from Newbury we could hook up at either Cherwell Services M40 J10 or Warrick M40 J12/13. Or if Telford we can hook up after Birmingham. Would be good to see a couple of Ice Ph1's together.

Where do you think you be hitting the M40? Or will you be going up the M5 via Worcester? Maybe hook up just the other side of Birmingham then? Or sooner depending on where our paths cross. For me from High Wycombe its about a 3.45 hour drive straight through. If I headed off around 11am and stopped around the halfway point for a stretch after a couple of hours we should arrive between 3pm and 4pm. That puts us just the other side of Birmingham for about 1pm.

Ok, I'm putting myself down for a definite "I will come if it's sunny". I'm a big fan of bbq's and I'd hate to have to taint my fondness of them by having one in the rain.
Actually the real reason is I HATE my car looking dirty after a long drive in bad weather. If it's sunny, I'm in, if it's raining I won't be attending.

ok Matt - popped you down. I'll bring you a brollie if you like? Only kidding. I've got a backup venue instead of the BBQ if the worse comes to the worse! Fingers crossed for the weather we are having at the moment though!

BBQ Itinerary

As metioned, weather permitting I will be sorting a BBQ at Williamson Perk in Lancaster at around 7pm (plenty of parking in the 2 car parks either side of it if you are driving).
I'll get loads of disposable BBQs, plates, cups etc for us and bring some wine, burgers but it would be great if everyone could also bring a little something which would be a real help given the numbers:

Burgers, sausages, wine, beer, soft drinks, crisps etc etc - any road kill on the way might also be nice
