LAKES Meet Saturday 6th August

Will come and meet you at Kendal on Saturday morning. Me and my fiancee will come for lunch at the trout too.

No hardknott / wrynose this year?

Think it's on the route.

Excellent , although I'm sure I for one will run out of steering lock. Still not properly used to the turning circle yet!

Phil there's no Wrynose this year just to keep things a bit different really, although we will be doing Honister pass, by the way I think you'd be lucky to make Hardknott in a Vee [smilie=icon_eek.gif] [smilie=icon_eek.gif] as some of those hairpins are just too sharp and you may struggle for ground clearance too [smilie=icon_eek.gif]

It will be spectacular! Rain, Sun or snow it's always gorgeous around the Lakes! The sight of 30+ vees going around it will be amazing!!!

The Forest of Bowland in Lancashire may be a good shout for the Sunday.

Absolutely, I live about 30 mins from the bottom of hardknott but not attempted it in the vee yet - seems a bit risky! Honister is much more suited. Also Kirkstone is good - between ambleside and ullswater.
