My 55 plate Laguna 205GT will be up for sale from 12th June so thought I'd advertise here first. My trials and tribulations with this car have been on the forum but it's been pretty good the last few months. I'm currently using it about once a fortnight and currently have 7 other cars so it's hard to justify keeping it. I bought it initially to use as a run around and then was planning to break it and use the engine and box in my 197. Like many of my plans it never came to fruition :0). Sibbers bought my 197 and this has been used lightly for the odd trip to the shops basically. I've spent about a grand on it in the year I've had it. Highlights are refurbed wheels with 2 new Toyos on the front, new crank pulley and all belts replaced, new alternator , new key card and fuel tank flushed. Previous owner also spent lots of money on coil packs, leads etc trying to trace a fault which turned out to be the blocked fuel pump in the tank. It drives really well and the engine and box are spot on. If you wanted to keep it , it would make a great daily, the ride handling compromise is excellent , I'm actually quite shocked at how well it handles. Few bits need sorting still , headlamps need a mop as they have gone cloudy. drivers side rear 3/4 section needs a bit of paint , clutch fluid needs changing, pedal goes soft when the fluid gets hot if you do a long motorway run. Other than that it cleans up really well. Interior is really nice with 2 tone leather and super well equipped, everything works, aircon is cold, has built in sat nav which works but occasionally loses its location for some reason but easy to reset. only done 70k genuine miles. Will be going up for a grand, will take £800 from someone on here for a quick and painless sale. Engine, box, wheels and interior would be worth that.
