I've been looking at replacing a couple of panels on the car and needed both door skins as I want to replace the fibre glass doors back to steel. As it turns out I stumbled upon a full set of fibre glass moulds for all the Trophy bodywork and the deal was made. Funny thing is these moulds where bought only 30mins down the road from the Dieppe factory in France, is that coincident or could they possibly be 'development' moulds Renault had made?? We will never really know as the seller didn't know who made them and bought them from a local auction.
What I do know is they look to be professionally made with a lot of thought and time gone into making them.

Might try making a few panels pal I needed a left hand side pod and the door skins anyway. Both rear quarters have been repaired and some of the detail has been lost so thought it a 'no brainer' to collect the set.
Been looking at the moulds and some slight differences I've noted are the spoiler has slightly larger mounting holes / feet and the front bumper has a couple of recesses missing that break the front up under the spot light recess. Most people would never notice but I'm still thinking they maybe development moulds. Any ideas [mention=1292,#2b2b2b]Duncan[/mention] , how many 'development' Trophy's got made and do you have any photos?

Just started making a set of intakes and the right hand mould is perfect fit to the original item I've sourced. So I'm convinced the moulds have been made from original parts but the slight differences baffles me!!

Clay model aside, Two prototypes I'm aware of, 8 early press. Are and then possibly 1 or 2 more pre production cars.

There may of been slight differences in the panels during each season though.

Little delivery taken yesterday and one of the last 'big' parts of the jigsaw.
I wanted to put the fuel tank back in the original position as it currently resides under the bonnet but not any road car tank would do as running a full bulkhead limits the tank space. So the options are a Trophy tank ( now what's the chance of finding one!!!! ) or custom made ally job. After many hours trawling the internet we found what we where looking for a second hand Trophy tank and a few other goodies

MME Motorsport have a very clever way of converting H pattern to sequential. You will need Dog engagement gears though even though they say you won't. Get a SADEV Phil!! :race:

I'm just measuring up for a custom tank, never even thought of looking for a trophy one !
Converting H to sequential in my opinion doesn't work well, just adds weight but like you the lever is a 'must have' !

That looks to be an original bag tank from 1999. Cant be many of those sat around!

I noticed the expiry date of 2008. I assume you can just pick up a new fuel cell to go in it. I came across a company called ATL who do that sort of thing when I was last looking at it.

Don't blame you for picking up the gear level. Its iconic! Be fantastic if you could somehow link it up to the H pattern.
