Sorry about the mess not to clued up on how to use this forum :) I do have another update on some bits so Will have a go lol

did you buy that manifold for the bike carbs or did you make it
if you bought it can you tell me where from n how much?
cheers
looks mint btw good work

hi mate yes i bought it, it was made by bogg bros for someone else and I got it off them for cheaper. They are quiet simple to make though :)

Think bogg bros charge around 200 mark but not sure.

Ok mate that's awesome. Was thinking of gettin R1. Throttle bodies on mine but not sure if it's worth the hassle

which ones were you thinking of getting? r1 carbs or throttle bodies as they are different?
TB's are very good but triple the price as it requires an ecu and loom making and all the sensors with carbs its just floats and needles.

Thats some good work there, the most random conversion I have ever seen... I had a L reg corsa gsi a good while back seemily it was a redtop bored out to a 2.1 as the previous owner stated no proof though. It was pretty quick... did you not fancy going fo the c20let? Or is it in the pipeline?

Hi mate, yeah I thought about LET but had the xe engine bits all there so thought why not, I think once the conversions done I will prob just drive it for a bit then decide after, C20LETS fetch over 1500 quid and you can get a b204 saab lump for 500 for the whole car! Not sure yet just want to get this all running first then decide.

why coscast? there isn't much difference to be honest I could change it for one if I wanted to but no need for it?
Not for power reasons just spending all the effort on a rebuild and then the head goes porous a month dowm the line and another top end rebuild then needed.

See what your saying but not every head is porous that isn't coscast and they are easy to strip so its no biggy.
