no, as they are still to be made it is not too late, £440 +delivery. the due date is two weeks from now, thats janspeeds promise not mine.

good question: the jig belongs to myself as i have paid for the development costs of this (about £800 to date), i will still be offering the exhausts after the group buy but will be trying to recoup my outgoings from future sales.

Can't believe how long Janspeed have taken. You could of had your local exhaust fabricator make this in a couple of days!

yes of course they will fit a ph2, they are exclusive for that model.

don't worry about the investment...............yet!

sorry for the question, but what do you mean regards issues with backbox? this is a new system that does away with your backbox and secondary cats.
no its not too late for the group buy, but i would like you to be happy first knowing exactly what you are buying.

All being well, as i said though, i'm not holding my breath. i know they are on with this as i have been on their case this last couple of weeks, just cannot seem to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Sorry but dissapointment yet again.
have been on to janspeed again today, five calls to get through, no joy as yet as they say they have a heavy work load at the moment. i am getting a little pissed at this now but what can i do but apologise to all involved in this. if i pull out now i loose my cash, so thats not an option for me.
again, apologies and i will keep you posted.

I'm not having a go at you Spike, but what sort of an excuse is that? Surely their heavy workload includes the production of our exhausts? they were already on with making them weren't they? the previous photos of the jig set up show that!

WHAT! Get them telt! - You had a scheduled slot for the production! They are now taking the piss! You can't lose your money if it's them at fault! I would be kicking up some serious stink!

Sometimes you have to let things roll too as there is only so much you can do ... I am sure Spike has a lot of things on his plate and is applying what pressure he can, from what's been said, and is providing updates on progress - even though it may not be going to his or anyones else's ideal ...

I think everyone has a fair point to be honest. Echoing what Martin says though, Spike has clearly put alot of effort into this and there is only so much anyone person can do. Bare in mind Janspeed isn't on his doorstep I bet its a case of alot of phone calls which doesn't help. I remember waiting around (getting ripped off) for an engine I spent around £13k on a few years back. The only way to finally get what I wanted was to travel up to liecester each weekend and throw my weight around when I got up there.
In my opinion, it doesn't matter if your a customer after an exhaust clamp or a big company after 400 of the same order, each costomer should be treated the same once the readies have been handed over. This is definatly a case of a biggish company taking the piss out of a single customer.

Spike, I really appreciate what you're doing here and trying to achieve. With a lot of personal investment. The time spent already on figuring out the best solution, instructing Janspeed, co-invest (financial) in the tools and last but not least dealing with the questions coming to you through the forum....

thanks for your support and comments, to be honest i don't know what the answer is, i am out of pocket here BIG time and cannot think of an answer.
i do appreciate the fact that folk have stuck with me on this and i will honour the deposits.
brett hit the nail on the head, i live too far away, if i were banging on the front door i feel things may be different, my phone bill is spiralling out of control and i am slowly loosing it. my costs just seem to be going up, along with my blood pressure.
i spoke to them on friday, and up till now have not been on the forum as i had no idea of what to post. the upshot is that i was promised some pictures of the exhaust being underway on tuesday, my retort to that was too blue to put here but i won't hold my breath, we shall see, but if nothing happens this week i think i need to be calling this a day, before it costs me any more.
i have to say i was warned about starting something like this by ray, but i chose to ignore him.
again, i apologise to all for the delay, and wish i had never heard of group buys, exhausts and janspeed.
