Grey or black plastic mouldings when you look at the front cover, mostly they are dark grey

Depends what year your vee was built as to what colour your inner casing is.

Vees upto late 2004 generally have black inserts and 2005 cars have grey inners - this is due to the change of colours during the production of the phase 2 clio 172 (fitted with black inner as standard) and clio 182 (fitted with grey inner as standard).

I think its just the plastic casing so the same for all types of lights, just refit your xenon bulbs etc back into the new case...

Not 100% sure though

They are different mate - the standard Renault xenon lights have a projector unit around the xenon bulb unit - standard don't.

Euro Car Parts listing new lamps at £43

Are you sure if they are xenons? Seems too cheap.
According to their info they are for Xenon bulbs and just to be sure I put my Vee reg in and it came up with these, originally £150, they also had Hella lamps at £80, likewise. Worth a call to be sure but beats the hell out of grinding and polishing lenses just to end up with distorted optics!

Yep deffo worth a call at that price, I have a mate who works for ECP so I will find out.

UPDATE

The ECP ones at £43 are NOT xenon - just standard halogen units.

Xenon units are £174 each!!! ECP part numbers are: 471740430 and 471740440.
