Being a young 51, but already having 2 other cars with full no claims, I have none to use on the V6, Hagerty will not insure V6 any more, full stop, so thats there classic policy shot down in flames.

does any body know anyone else that will either reflect my no claims discount or that offers a modern classic policy on the V6, only want 2000 miles a year.

Cheers

Steve

Hello Steve,

Whilst your NCB can not be used on more then one car at a time, some Insurers will allow a introductory discount mirroring your NCB that you have elsewhere, this can then enable you to get a good discount off your first year and start earning NCB on your other vehicle where applicable.

Adrian Flux have Insurers that are able to do this, If you would like me to organise a callback from them to discuss your quote needs could you please PM me the following Details.

Name and Postcode
Contact Number and best time to call
Make and Model of Car and if it has been modified.

Adrian Flux also offer up to 15% discount for being a member of this forum as well.

Regards,
Dan.

Hagarty told me originally they will provide a NCB statement based on the number of years transferred to them (even though they don't use it) plus the number of years you have been with them so not sure what the issue is ?

Admiral do a multi-car policy - keeps all your no claims in place and you can insure the Vee with them, then move the other car(s) over as and when their policies run out

The Admiral multi-car policy doesn't do anything clever regarding no claims AFAIK. That's still attached to a car/individual combination ie. I have a no claims, and my missus has her own different one, but both are insured under a single multi-car policy.

Spoke to Adrian Flux via PFC link , price £536 is a joke on a 2000 mile policy, I am 51 with full no claims on 2 other cars and no convictions and have the use of 2 other cars and 4 motorbikes, all motorbikes on one policy at £234. Volvo and Audi on multi car policy with Admiral at about £350 for both.

Admiral were cheaper than AF with no no claim being used on the policy just added as a extra car.

So still need help.

kwik-fit has a high excess but cheap policies....they also do a deal for£5 per month you get your excess back in the result of any claim

Admiral multi car for last 3 yrs . im 48 pay £231, miles limited to 3 thou ( i only do about 900 ) thats with four cars on policy :)

Very hard to get a price but this best one so far , the 3 bikes insured with Carol Nash with 7 years no claims, they will mirror my bike no claims and are offering a premium of £311.22 for a year with excess of £250& glass at £50, with the misses on it as well.

Its called a 6 wheel policy.

How weird is that, full no claims count for nothing from my car but my bike no claims does.

I give up trying to work out how insurance companies work.
