Insurance Shock

Right i'm abit shocked with the insurance quotes i'm getting the best so far is Elephant @ £1600, I'm 24 years old, 3 years no claims, 6 points and in a good postcode. I paid this 2 years ago for my cossie!! I pay £650 for my 300bhp Focus RS and i dont feel i can justify paying an extra grand. Is that quote about right or could i get cheaper?

forget that little rant my insurance company rang me back with a quote of £1329 just waiting for Greenlight to get back to me.

greenlight should be cheaper than than, they were half what anyone else offered me.
