did however start out as 900 but they decided i couldnt prove my no claims so whacked it up a bit a month in :s
even after sending them all the info they asked for?
anyone else had this with admiral?
I did.....came up £2,200 quid for my last renewal.....think they were taking Class A drugs like most insurance companies....that was on 13 years NCB too....
I have 10 years NCD but for some reason Tesco only gave me 5 back on my requested 'proof of NCD' form... I argued with the guy on the phone but apparently according to him ALL insurance companies take 5 years to be the maximum amount... Now I will be seriously Pissed off if I find out that those extra 5 years would make a difference to my premium elsewhere...
Insurance companies make sure you don't give them false details, however, I'd be inclined to say they are withholding information from me as they did not mention anywhere to my knowledge that my NCD would be bumped down to 5 years on the insurances expiry date when taking out the policy.
Regardless of this (I have my house, other car and even the bloody cat insured with them) as a gesture of goodwill to a loyal customer you would think I'd be given my full entitlement, or at the least if the 5 year max rule is true I would want to know this and have it explained to me rather than just see 10 years turn to 5 without any explanation. Customer services will be getting a letter.
I'd recommend bell too, as said i paid £799 for my 197 cup with only 1yr ncb, i then switched to the vee, with 7 months left on the policy and they charged me an extra £196
