850 when you are 21 hows that. Im 25 and its still costing me £1400 with 7 years ncb with virgin

Seriously, adding parents as named drivers on your own policy makes a massive difference, especially if you live in a good post code area.

Yea that sounds about right, I only had 3 years when I renenewed. Got bless next renewal in July though, I'll be 25 with 4 years NCD wooo!

I was already with them for 10 months when i got the vee so had to pay difference for the two months which worked out £1400. Iv just had my renual through yesterday and they want £1850!!!!!!!!. im reading all the insurance posts to see who every1 says is best.

i'm 23 now with 5 year's no claim's and my renewal is £1400ish. got dad on policy as a named driver too. that's with adrian flux's..

admiral quoted me £900ish. try confused.com.

we pay just under £800 for our V6 and our fiesta st thats with a low excess built in break down cover and protected no claims. for both vehicles.

yes jainy, you could be right there also it covers me the wife and my son all fully comp. i am insured through a well known car club and it isn`t french.

Well im 25 from Kent, with 4 years NCD at the moment and one accident announced (back in 2004) im looking at getting a Vee 6 and finding out about quotes etc seems a good plain before you make the leap into group 20 insurance .

I currently own a 2001 VTR and pay £370 fully comp, and my best quote so far (not been looking too hard just yet, and so it seems in all the wrong places ) is £1400 for a 05 MKII, gonna give greenlight / elephant / and flux a try...

thanks everyone for sharing your insurance prices, we all want to know whether or not we're getting a good deal or if our current insurer is ripping us off ...
