Want to swap my 182 with Phil who has the mk1 v6 for sale on here.

Need to find insurance

Have tried confused and insurance supermarket.

Any other ideas?

Its annyong because elephant will insure me if im 21 for a very good price, but im not 21 till july and want one now.

That's life I'm afraid.

Think yourself lucky, back in the late 80's you couldn't really insure a high performance sports car until you were 25! Not that there were that many around to chose from or that you could get credit to buy etc.

Insurance quote not suprising tbh. All the unlicensed, uninsured drivers, etc have probably made that quote that high not just your age

@ K1ano - I remember back in 1989 my mates dad insuring his Escort RST. £8k a year fully comprehensive and he was nearly 40 @ the time :shock:

Yeh, there was a few months where Sierra Cosworth prices reached rock bottom, even as low as £5k, cause the insurance was so high.

Give Footman James a try, and limit your yearly mileage to as low as you can, they quoted me £375 with 1500 miles per year limit.

Thats who my brother is insuring his exige with Rich, they are good for the specialist cars.

If all else fails mate, maybe even try third party f+t til you turn 21?
