Inlet manifold bolts?....

G

Guest

Want to take the cylinder head off to change the head gasket on my RSi but have no idea how to get to the bolts in order to take the intake manifold off. I know that the injection system has to come off but how do I do it.

Any kind person out there willing to walk me through it...

Thanks in advance to anyone who takes pity on me LOL. :(

on the valver its easier to just take the rocker cover off then whole head with manifolds still attached, not sure on RSi but may be same approach required?!

Thanks Coops, had a look and yes, can just undo the four bolts from the manifold and take it all off in one piece. Just had to release two screws on the injection system (bastards to get at) and voila it came off and could get to the cylinder head bolts.

Thanks again. Also found some pics that you had posted of the headgasket change on your car and that helped a lot.
