Immobiliser

Hello all

Has this happened to anyone? Unlocked the Vee to clean parts of it yesterday. It was probably unlocked for about an hour. When I tried to start it nothing, pretty much the same as when the starter died. I locked an unlocked it a few times still nothing. Changed the battery again nothing so locked the car feeling very frustrated thinking what to do next. When I went back about 15 mins later it started fine and has done ever since?!?

What happens to the immobiliser light? Does it flash constant with the ignition on or stays illuminated with ignition on?

Do you have another key?

I didn’t check the light at the time. Now
It flashes when locked. When you turn on the ignition it stay on for a couple of seconds then goes off.

That’s normal operation.

If it happens again take note what the immobiliser light does?
