Immobiliser

Just fitted a new heater matrix so i've had the dash apart. Put it back together but accidentally have shapped the little LED that indicates that i have turned the immobiliser off when i blip the the alarm fob and can hence start the engine.
Turned the key to II and blipped the fob but now it starts to open and close the door locks - its like it doesn't sense that i have the key in the ignition. Engine will start then run for maybe 15 seconds - sweet as a nut - then cut out.
Could this be down to the connection being broken due to the snapped LED? I have a Sigmma alarm and inmmobiliser???

thats a tuff one shorly not . but it sounds like the immob works and as if it has a timer . as if u unlock the car but dont start it after time it will need reseting . or the relay only primes the pipe to start then pump stops . easy way round it is fix the led if no joy take the alarm back out .

Yeah gonna do that first - worth a go. After about 15 seconds you can hear the alarm box click and just cut the ignition. Cannot see any loose wires - I fear i may have to get someone out who is a whizz with this type of thing if all fails. :cry:
