Hi, sorry to bombard you lot with problems.
My clio is up and running, but there is still problems.
The idle is quite lumpy, ive looked at the throttle position sensor and thats fine(took it off and played with it manually).

Heres a video of it:

I would very much appreaciate your opinion on it as im starting to loose my rag with it. French cars, hey.

hope you got it back to where it originally was properly or it will need setting up by renault or a renault specialist

yeah dont worry about that, i scored a line on the throttle and the rubber bit.

I didn't :P

Someone set that hybrid on fire before i managed to figure that one out :(

At a guess i would try a different TPS on your throttle body. I would also check the wiring to your TPS and ISCV.

Not really sure what else could cause a funny idle like that, perhaps you could just get another throttle body with a working (and set up correctly) TPS on it and see if that makes a difference.

Other than that i don't know what else to suggest. Could an air leak cause it?

i dont think its an air leak, the tps sensor is working correctly and its positioned right.
It could be the icv, i have cleaned it out with carb cleaner but stil have the problem.
What about the lambda sensor? would this cause it?

do clio's have stepper motors? if so this might be it???

i think they do, where is it located and is it a matter of taking it off and fixing or does it have to be a straight fix.
Also what makes you think its the stepper motor?

don't think they do..iirc...does it do this from starting or once run..

You tried a different ECU? don't think valvers have stepper motors (although there is a little motor inside the ISCV i think, this would probably be a stepper motor thinking about it)

check the connectors to thee iscv, mine were fubar and the car idled eratically or died
