Right, been to all the local scrap yards by me, and cant find a matching IACV for my ph3 21 to save my life. :bash: :bash: :bash: Anyone got one the ph3 type with a two pin plug? Thanks

Sorry I didnt answer your text mate, completely forgot!

I Havent got one to hand, i'll have a dig round later see if one pops up.

Its OK Dave, I knew you may have been preoccupied. Sorted it today anyway, the screws that had rounded off to open the iacv, just needed some gentle persuasion with some mole grips. Sprayed a hole can of carb cleaner in it, runs sound again now. Only to discover that the fan relays are knackered and they were full of water. Put them in a warm place to see if that will make any difference. Can you cut these relays out of the wiring and wire the fans straight to the rad sender?

the rad sender is only rated for switching current, you can get automotive relays from places like Maplins for peanuts and replace the old ones

....or find a vast selection of em under the dash of a scrapper, under the ABS cover behind the coil, or n virtually and car in a scrappy. Universal 5-pin relays+electrical tape=new fan wiring :gizmo:

lol one place to get them i spose.
Might aswell get a spanking new ones that are guaranteed not to need replacing for a 100s of thousands of switches for the sake of about £2

For future reference, I nabbed an ISCV off a clio in a scrappy - same part number. T'was a valver iirc.
