Great stuff, well done - I was a bit sceptical but you set a high price point, were confident and got a great sale :approve: It does show that if you have the right combination of car and buyer and the advertising channel it can be done.

I am thinking personally that pistonheads is the place to sell cars like this rather than e-bay and autotrader ... Clearly the selective buyers use it ...

I agree... Pistonheads has become much more of the enthusiasts tool for buying - interestingly the prices stuff is advertised at on pistonheads is quite a bit higher than autotrader in my experience. some prices are unrealistic, others aren't.

selling the Vee for more than Ron Hodgson is some going too.

Why have "Ron Hodgsons" adverts suddenly dissapeared from pistonheads........... I can't believe he's sold all three of the V6's he was advertings in the last week ????

Shame really, as he constantly priced his at top dollar which was good for anyone selling theirs.
