Hydraulic clutch leak

Hi.

So I took the Vee out for the first time this season and had a blast. Until I found the clutch becoming lighter and lighter.

Now it has no bite what so ever and the car is stranded at my friends house.

I belive the hydraulic fluid is leaking so I will send it back to the garage to have it looked after.
But I was wondering if this might be something I can do myself so I dont have to tow the car to the garage?

With just a jack and jackstands is this possible?

Where do I find the reservoir and where do I fill it up and bleed it?
What do I have to do?

Reservoir is up front under the bonnet and you can bleed it pretty easily by removing the engine covers and bleeding the slave with an easy bleed kit. I take it you have seen where it's leaking from? Has the slave popped and contaminated the clutch? Ph1 clutches are no longer available I hear.

I have not seen where its leaking from. My garage will have to do this under warranty as they have replaced the slave cylinders both front and rear.

Just take off the engine covers, or the whole thing?

Just wondering if this is a job I could do in a couple of minutes and get it going again and drive it back to the garage.
Where is the slave located?

These are the pictures I took last night of the engine bay. I see there is some "moisture" in the one photo but I dont know what it is.

Off it goes!

i asked the garage today and they said they just topped it up with more fluid when they got it back last time.
Now they will check for a leak.

Did the clutch pedal return after you press it in? If it doesn't then you might have the same problem as I had last year where the clutch slave cylinder shat itself inside the gearbox and ruining the clutch at the same time. I changed the clutch master cylinder at the same time too

The clutch pedal did return by itself with the help of the spring.

The garage called me today and told me that it was the high slave cylinder that was the problem.
The sealing wasn't tight so the fluid leaked onto the other side of the "piston" and thats why it got gradually worse. It's located under the clutch pedal so they told me they'll just switch it over with the one they had on the other car they have in the showroom. This part have been replaced earlier so they took it under warranty.
