5 GT Turbo How do I remove turbo wastegate on r5gtt??

Proper noob here guys, so any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
Can anyone tell me how to remove the turbo wastegate as I'm trying to get the turbocharger off.
I've been trying to remove the union pipe nut too but it doesn't do anything once loosened. Any help would be great cheers guys

You don't need the actuator off to remove the turbo?

From distant memory
4 bolts on the turbo flange
choice now to remove the 2 bolts holding the elbow to downpipe or 3 on the back of the turbo to the elbow.

Thats it.

You will need circlip pliers to turn or remove the compressor housing to access the bolts assuming stock turbo.

it was bent so had to put a spare one on and clean turbo
